For ward bishoprics and the people they serve
A better Sunday program. A little less to keep track of.
Prepare your Sunday program, share ward announcements, and give members one place to find the information they need.
Bring the work of your ward together, so less gets lost in the shuffle and more time can be spent on the people you serve. Keep track of callings, assignments, meetings, and recurring events while giving organizations room to manage their own responsibilities.
What you can do with 1stHour
Sunday starts long before Sunday.
Speakers to invite. Callings to extend. Interviews to schedule. Activities to coordinate. Too often those details live in a spreadsheet here, a calendar there, and a conversation someone hopes to remember. 1stHour gives the bishopric and organizations one shared place for that work.
Prepare and share the sacrament meeting program.
Make the program easy to prepare, publish, and find. Give members one place to see who’s speaking, read announcements, and find information about their ward.
Keep track of the details.
Keep callings, assignments, interviews, meeting decisions, and follow-ups from getting scattered across notes, spreadsheets, and messages.
Give organizations room to lead.
Help organization leaders manage their own announcements, programs, and activity proposals while keeping the bishopric informed and the ward coordinated.
Remember what comes around again.
Keep recurring events and responsibilities in view, so planning for next year doesn’t have to start from memory.

Why I built 1stHour
I’m currently serving as an Executive Secretary in my ward, and I’ve seen firsthand just how many little things go into keeping a ward running smoothly. Between meetings, callings, interviews, sacrament meeting programs, and all the follow-ups in between, there’s a lot to keep track of.
I started building 1stHour to help make that easier: giving ward leaders a shared place to stay organized and on the same page, while allowing organizations to manage their own responsibilities without everything having to go through the bishopric.
My hope is that 1stHour can help other wards do the same: spend a little less time keeping track of administrative details and a little more time focusing on the people we serve.
It’s free, it’s still growing, and every ward that uses it helps me learn what would make it more useful.
If it sounds like something that could help your ward, I’d love for you to give it a try.

Getting started
Start with what you need. Add more when you’re ready.
You don’t have to change everything about the way your ward operates.
Start with the sacrament meeting program. Share announcements. Then, when you’re ready, explore the tools for coordinating callings, meetings, assignments, activities, and recurring responsibilities.
The guides will walk you through the practical details, one step at a time.
Less Administering. More Ministering.
The administrative work matters. But it’s not the reason we serve.
We serve because of the people in our wards. 1stHour is here so leaders can spend less time keeping track of everything and more time ministering to the one.
