When 1stHour gets an update with something that changes for you, a short line shows under the header. It starts with New and names the biggest change. Each person sees only what applies to their role, so an update with nothing for you says nothing.

1. Read the notes

  1. Tap the line under the header. The notes open, newest first.
  2. Updates you haven't seen yet are marked New. Under each date, the changes are grouped as Added, Changed and Fixed.
  3. Scroll down for earlier updates. Tap Show earlier updates to go further back.
  4. Tap × at the top to close the notes.

Opening the notes counts as having seen them, so the line goes away.

2. Put the line away

Tap the × at the end of the line. It goes away on this phone and on every other device you sign in on, until the next update has something for you.

3. Open the notes again

You can read the notes at any time, even with nothing new.

  • Bishopric and ward clerk: open Settings and tap What's new at the bottom, under the version.
  • Organization leaders, the bulletin editor and the musical director: tap your initials at the top, then What's new.
